My story of Rebirth & Transformation
Ten years ago, my world burned to the ground. A health crisis led to multiple hospitalizations, forcing me to return to Maryland after establishing myself in North Carolina. Everything I had built collapsed. I felt lost, trapped in a body and mind I no longer recognized. Slowly, I began to rebuild.
Nourishing food, friendship, and simple acts of self-care became my medicine. As I started feeling like myself again, the world opened up. I followed my intuition and moved to Oregon, drawn to its art, music, and nature. For three years, I thrived, becoming more of my true self. But beneath it all, something was still missing.
In the latter half of 2022, I hit another low. My health declined, my skin flared, and I found myself trapped in old patterns—seeking fulfillment outside of myself, clinging to attachments, running from what I truly needed. It was another season of fire, burning away what no longer served me.
Two years ago, everything shifted. I moved out of the city, surrounded by space to grow—physically, emotionally, spiritually. As I planted my garden, I watched flowers bloom, birds return, and vegetables grow, mirroring the transformation within me. I reconnected to my true self. No longer dissociating, no longer living outside my own body, I began to fully inhabit myself again.
I embraced change. I started growing and selling microgreens, launched a botanicals business, and rekindled my passion for yoga. In September 2023, I volunteered at my local studio. A year later, I completed my teacher training. Through movement, nature, and self-care, I found what I had been searching for all along—confidence, self-love, and the power to shape my own reality.
Now, it’s time to say goodbye to another chapter. I am leaving Oregon. With deep gratitude for everything this land has given me, I am stepping into my next transformation. I am moving to Los Angeles—a city that has recently endured great loss through the fires, yet continues to stand strong. I have deep respect for this place, its people, and its resilience. I am honored to begin my next chapter there, to learn, to grow, and to contribute to the community with love and intention.
This story is who I am, who I’ve been, and who I am becoming. It is the embodiment of resilience—the willingness to let go, to embrace change, and to never give up.
Now is the time. There could not be a better time. Together, let’s step into our own unique power, shed old versions of ourselves, and emerge as the most radiant, unstoppable version of who we are meant to be.
